If it's Thursday...

It's the latter half of the week and according to many media outlets, President Biden has a doomed Presidency.

This stuff is exhausting. Inflation, supply chains issues, Dems in disarray -- the list goes on. It's almost as if there is a concerted effort to make us forget that a year and a half ago we were searching for toilet paper, yeast, and, disinfectant wipes. There were meat shortages because workers were getting the virus at packing plants. Fruits and vegetables were going to waste because TFG slashed the number of H-2A Temporary Agricultural Visas. This is a picture of a grocery store on March 13, 2020.

It's almost as if we're supposed to forget the shortage of Personal Protection equipment when this pandemic hit, and how long it continued. We saw hospital workers in garbage bags, remember that? It was still happening in June of 2020, when experts were imploring the maladministration to invoke the Defense Production Act.

When President Biden took office, the number of people vaccinated was around 1%. By March 19 of 2021, 417,961,608 doses were administered. Today about 80% of all Americans have at least one dose, A majority have two and many are getting a third shot. That's important. This is important as well:

I swear to god, debunking this crap is exhausting.

Thank You, Brandon. Seriously, Thank You, Brandon Biden.

Mornin' all...

I'm trying to keep a level head today, but it's difficult.

Political or is something else going on?

Little bit of everything. These trials (both Rittenhouse and Charlottesville) are hard to pay attention to without keeping my temper in check. And I'm pretty stressed out at home with the money situation and the relationship situation (which was going fine until the money/insurance issues caused that to derail).

Morning

It doesn't help they have a right-wing crazy "news" arm out that have built trebuchets to launch their bullshit to their masses.

Good morning, bloggers!!!!

Here in Los Angeles, I can be asked to prove my vaccination status when going into a public place. That has not yet happened but I am prepared to prove it. (I wear my mask and most people do. There are some people not wearing masks properly but I fear that is commonplace.)

As for President Biden, I think that he is being hold to a higher standard than the bar used for tRump, which was so low that it could fit beneath the belly of a snake in a 300 foot pit in Death Valley. The media loves controversy and fears being labeled the :liberal media."

Yup, that's it.

it's a double standard if you ask me and it's infuriating.

More stories like this, for example.
On the day of his first dose, his only symptom was a slightly sore arm. It didn't stop him from playing tennis with his Grammy that afternoon.

The following morning when I asked him if he was having any side effects, he said, "Happiness!" He bounced through the morning on his way to school, high-fiving his teacher as he passed through the gate.

We spent some time talking about the first things we'd want to do two weeks after his second dose.

His first request was a trip to Italy, and when told to think slightly smaller, he requested a trip to the local trampoline park. Don't tell him, but we might be able to do both.

Good morning. I think since news ratings are down that the MSM may want TFG back just for the viewership like when people stop to look at accidents.

TFG was deemed "presidential" as long as he didn't poop his pants during a speech.

Not that we'd know if he did. Perhaps that's why he stood in that odd way way he did.

It is a curious Veteran's Day.

While I often pause to remember my elders that served in WWII, I rarely contemplate Papa Trisec.

His musical career was interrupted because Uncle Sam decided to draft him in 1956. I recalled this a year ago and remembered to wish him a Happy Veteran's Day - to which he noted "I barely remember myself".

Like many of his generation, Pops simply did what he needed to do and moved on.
