Good Morning!

So the unemployment numbers came out today, and these headlines have me dizzy:

NYT:

WaPo:

Unemployment rate stays steady at pandemic low of 3.6%
U.S. employers added 390,000 jobs in May, keeping the unemployment rate at 3.6 percent.

CNN:

3.6% is still a good thing, right? I mean, WTF.

And that would be reason 10,000 why I no longer trust CNN

That is a seriously messed up headline.

I fear that a lot of news operations are more interested in having a horse race in the fall so that their ad revenues go up than looking at the facts. How are these numbers indicative of a slow down? They are not. However, I guess that the narrative is important than the facts.
