Yesterday was wild for the residents of Florida. Allegedly Hurricane Ian was the reason the J6 Select committee postponed its hearing yesterday. That was a smart move, I know I wasn't alone in watching this terrible storm.
We still don't have a full damage estimate as the storm is not over. It's heading out over the Atlantic coast as I type this. It may even reform to a hurricane again.
Going back to the J6SC, its Chair, Bennie Thompson told reporters that they will depose Ginni Thomas, this week. A few reporters are saying it will occur today.
I don't have much more to say this morning. I'm really glad our little vacation place was spared, but I feel terrible about the people in Fort Myers beach and Naples areas as well as all of the barrier islands.
I hope for the best.

A little while ago, Chris Jansing asked someone from Ft. Myers Gov't about unconfirmed reports about bodies in the water.
Now, I know it seems tawdry, but I have no reason to believe it was an unfair question. It's 2 o'clock, and there are no reports of death.
I cannot imagine for one minute that this will remain to be unchanged. Nobody is talking about fatalities and no one is showing rescues on TV.
In looking at Sanibel Island and Ft Myers beach... I hope my bad feeling is wrong.

The specifics about the student loan forgiveness thing were just released.
