It is depressing that 79 years after D-Day we have people who self-identify as fascists or are carrying out policies and use rhetoric similar to the fascists we opposed in World War II.
Somehow, I think that then General Eisenhower would be very concerned about our modern state of political affairs. Also, I think that a PT boat captain named John Fitzgerald Kennedy would remind us that eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.
