So....this happened Tuesday, but is just getting circulation today.
U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon is no longer visiting a school in Waltham on Tuesday, prompting the coalition of parents, educators and public education advocates who planned to protest to cancel its demonstration. The coalition issued the following statement:
"We are pleased to hear that U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon has cut short her propaganda tour in Massachusetts and will not be visiting the Lumen Academy in Waltham tomorrow. Considering her sudden change in plans, there will not be a protest outside of the school.
