There are so many problematic items in the establishment press's treatment of yesterday's "One Nation" rally in Washington that it's difficult to know where to begin.

So let's start at the very beginning. Among the many howlers in the coverage is a claim the Associated Press's Philip Elliott pass without response towards the end of his 12:21 p.m Saturday report (saved here at my web host for future reference, fair use, and discussion purposes; bold is mine):

One Nation organizers said that they began planning their event before learning about Beck's rally and that their march is not in reaction to it.

It would appear that either Elliott felt that this statement would easily withstand scrutiny, and thus performed none himself, or that he knew better, and let it get into his report anyway.

Given the fact that so-called progressives have been continually monitoring Beck's activities and pronouncements for several years, One Nation's organizers would have to prove that they began substantively "planning their event" before November 21, 2009. Good luck with that.

These groups all want You wiped off the face of Your earth. They all want to profit by Your earth with lies and deceit. They assault Your Word. They call You the liar. Please show up and show them that You are who You say You are. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.

Personally I’d like to see these punks kill themselves off. Sadly, many decent people will die in the revolution these morons start. Fortunately, these morons don’t understand people like me… American veterans who served over 20 years fighting in the forces that guard our country and (our) way of life… chiefly a free republican form of government.

We will allow the communist punks to only go so far, once (they) cross the line however, the kid gloves come off. These punks think they know how to cause trouble… They’ve never been toe to toe with PISSED off Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans… who have actually seen grown men get their heads cut off and blown to tiny bits… These punks have NO IDEA the can of worms they are trying to pry open… it will CRUSH THEM like tiny BUGS!

But while these Liberals bandy about their tired, worn out slogans of “jobs, justice and education”, they offer no solutions to paying the piper. That fat union pension plans, health care for all and endless social safety nets have a price which keeps getting larger and larger. The U.S. Federal government already has an ‘on budget’ debt load approaching $14 Trillion dollars. Add to that the shortfalls in state and municipal governments, plus deficits in public employee pension plans, takes us to nearly $20 Trillion dollars.

Their [USSR Communist] children and grandchildren are with us today, marching in our own capital city and busily undermining every single institution in our nation. Their smiles don’t disguise the loathing they feel for what America is, but they do reflect their joy at what they hope she becomes.

Unfortunately for these useful idiots, malevolent fools and active seditionists, many of us remember the old USSR and what it looked like and what it smelled like. We’ve been hearing this same propaganda for decades; the only difference now is that they’re out and proud.
