Poor, poor Rupert! Seems he is shutting down his paper 'cause the mean ol' "Establishment" looks down on him for wire-tapping telephones of bombing victims, police and government officials and politicians. He figures that shutting down the paper and calling it quits - and firing a lot of people who did nothing wrong - will keep the rest of his media empire (including FAUX NEWS) scandal free. Good luck Rupert!

Not really. I would LOVE to see you led away in handcuffs. Surely, you'll blame some middle management peon for the whole debacle, but anyone who knows anything about you will know that your fingers all in this mess.

Daily revelations of new potential hacking targets, including the relatives of murder and military combat victims, have fed the surge of popular outrage against Murdoch and News International, the British subsidiary of News Corp. Politicians who once might have feared angering the Australian-born media baron are now denouncing him loudly in Parliament.

Andy Coulson, a former editor of the News of the World who went on to become a top aide to Prime Minister David Cameron, was arrested Friday morning by Scotland Yard.Coulson, 43, is suspected of authorizing payments to police officers for information during his tenure at the tabloid.

Coulson stepped down earlier this year as Cameron's chief communications aide. Still, his arrest is deeply embarrassing for the British leader, who announced Friday that public inquiries would be set up to investigate the phone hacking scandal at the News of the World.

Seriously, I hope the Prime Minister gets a bug up his ass and Rupert's empire is his only target as his relief! If I get to see Murdoch and his kids led away in handcuffs I will throw a tea party. I hope that he has pissed off someone who is more important than him, if there is anyone. To dream that the uptight KaBillionaire would spend one night in a seedy jail cell would be a delight.

Okay, I may be a bit overjoyed. I mustn't forget that this is hurting people; innocent people that had their privacy invaded as well as many people that have lost jobs.

In other news, Japan was hit by yet anther Earthquake! When will it end for this country? Thankfully, there has not been a tsunami to make matters worse, at least for now. But will they have more aftershocks? Pray they won't.

John Boehner is in the news because he took the tea party by the hand and walked off with them in a pink fluffy dress, pink and white flowered hat and red tap shoes. He carried a matching umbrella under his arm. Oh he also rejected the President's plan on the debt ceiling.

Now, while I wasn't thrilled about Obama's plan, at least the social security, medicare aspect of it, but it would at least have given us some money in the bank in the form of increased revenue over the next 10 years.

Ever since I heard about sacrificing social programs that are core values of the Democratic Party I have been at odds about how I feel about President Obama. Serious odds. But now I once again have to wonder if he is just really, really, fucking smart.

Boehner just walked away from putting a big dent in something the conservatives have been fighting to kill. Now, who looks worse?

I do know this: Don't touch my social security you bastards. I don't care what letter comes after your name. Don't touch it!

Have a great Sunday.
