Oh no. Saying the actual truth will get you fired Don, don't you know that? Here is the statement from the NCGOP:


That was the public statement. The private one that went out to supporters read like this:
"Mr. Yelton's comments are spot on and said with such grace and clarity, and are perfectly acceptable of any member within the Republican Party. In no way are his comments to be taken out of context and are completely supported by the local and state Republican Party."

I'm pretty sure I got that right.
