Someday my Spring will come

Good Morning.
I'm off to the store in a few minutes for a meeting of some sort. Just what I want to do before hours on a Saturday morning!
A youth on the soccer team recently stated..."Too bad winter started in April this year".
It's looked like this since about Patriot's Day:
So here we are on May 7. This happened in Boston once around this date. I was in 5th grade; I remember it well.
The question remains; when is it going to look like this?
Hard to say if this falls under "weather" or "climate". And in a side note, Mother's Day is generally when I put in my garden. I haven't even given it a thought this year. Maybe next weekend.
