These are horribly dark times. Don't give up. They want you to give up. Don't give up.

I am sure that you saw some of the news over the weekend regarding what is happening in detention centers around the country. It's the thing I feared when the administration instated the Muslim travel ban. It was what I feared when we saw anti-Hispanic rhetoric during the campaign.

What I and many others are bearing witness to the fear we had hoped would not happen. It's here.

I can't say this is rock bottom, although I hope it is. Stay strong and take time to breathe and know that you are not alone. Know your truth and don't let this administration convince you that it's day when you know it's night.
