The last two weeks were a whirlwind of public testimony in the impeachment inquiry. We have been lead to believe that this will now head over to the Judiciary Committee where, should they decide to do so, articles of Impeachment will be written.

Meanwhile, everything is seemingly coming apart at the seams. Over the weekend it was reported that there are tapes.
The House Intelligence Committee is in possession of audio and video recordings and photographs provided to the committee by Lev Parnas, an associate of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who reportedly played a key role in assisting him in his efforts to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

The material submitted to the committee includes audio, video and photos that include Giuliani and Trump. It was unclear what the content depicts and the committees only began accessing the material last week.

"We have subpoenaed Mr. Parnas and Mr. [Igor] Fruman for their records. We would like them to fully comply with those subpoenas," House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff told CNN Sunday, with a committee spokesperson adding they would not elaborate beyond the chairman's comments.

An attorney for Parnas, Joseph A. Bondy, also declined to comment, directing ABC News to a statement released earlier in the day Sunday reading in part, "Mr. Parnas has vociferously and publicly asserted his wish to comply with his previously issued subpoena and to provide the House Intelligence Committee with truthful and important information that is in furtherance of justice, not to obstruct it."
CNBC also reports this.
Lev Parnas would tell Congress that the purpose of the planned trip was to interview two Ukrainian prosecutors who claim to have evidence that could help President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, Parnas’ attorney, Joseph Bondy, told CNBC. Nunes is one of Trump’s most outspoken defenders in Congress. Giuliani is one of the president’s personal lawyers.

But when Nunes’ staff realized that going to Ukraine themselves would mean alerting Schiff to their plans, they instead asked Parnas to set up the meetings for them over phone and Skype, which he did, according to Bondy.

The Intelligence Committee is leading the House’s impeachment inquiry into Trump. It wrapped up two weeks of public hearings Thursday during which several Trump administration officials described a pressure campaign to influence Ukraine into saying it would investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, the frontrunner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and a discredited conspiracy theory regarding the 2016 election
I know that the Democrats want to keep this inquiry and possible trial as smooth and fine-pointed as possible, but it is quickly becoming apparent that it might not be able to.

Keeping in mind that the Judiciary Committee is charged with writing articles of impeachment it is still in the House Special Intelligence committee to investigate national security issues, et al. Intel can still hold hearings. Intel can keep the inquiry going while articles are written up and AFTER they are written up.

Also, we'll know a little more by the end of the day about former WH counsel, Don McGahn.
A federal judge has said she intends to rule no later than the end of the day Monday on whether McGahn must testify under subpoena to Congress.

U.S. District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson of Washington entered an order last week about her deadline intent “absent unforeseen circumstances,” shortly after a filing from House General Counsel Douglas N. Letter arguing impeachment hearings before the House Intelligence Committee are grounds for urgency.

House Democrats are debating whether articles of impeachment should include obstruction of justice allegations against Trump detailed in the special counsel report by Robert S. Mueller III.

Meanwhile, according to Politico, the Occupant of the White House is 'bunkering down' increasingly in the Residence portion of the building, and it is being reported that he hasn't been seen golfing since October 26. Buckle up, While we'll be giving thanks this week, it promises to be another whirlwind week.
