Endless swirling in the punch bowl

Another Monday. Another week of just holding on until inauguration day. I mean, when I wrote this post 2 months ago, I meant it. There is no bottom.
What I didn't expect is the sheer insanity of what we have been witnessing. It's with a healthy dose of pure panic. They are looting the country, its norms, and all that it tried to stand for right in front of our eyes.
Rudy Guiliani, we are told, is at Georgetown University Medical Center per the NYT. Because of this, Arizona closed its Legislature, because the virus spread the virus,
With that, I am pretty happy that the state certified its election results last week.
Then there is this ish.
Never mind that it won't be Marine or AF1 after 12:01 on January 20th for the occupant.
How quaint that anyone still thinks there are normal pleasantries to be had with this cult leader in DC. All He and his sycophants are doing is pissing in the holiday party punch bowl that they are literally serving to themselves.
To which I say: Let. Them. Fight.

And flying off from the South Lawn before landing in Florida would let Trump escape protests, the normal pleasantries of welcoming the incoming president to the White House — and sitting there while Biden takes the oath of office.
