The Walls Closing In

As of this writing, the results of the GA Senate run-off election between Rafael Warnock (D-incumbent) and Herschel Walker (R-idiot) has not been definitively decided, although all the news outfits are calling it a win for Warnock. It may take a day or two to get the actual results. If (ohpleaseohpleaseohplease) Walker loses, it will be a nearly clean sweep loss for all of TFG's endorsements. He'll need to replace that Fake Gold "T" with a shit-brown "L".

In TFG news, I am sure you've all heard the big news out of NY yesterday, where the Trump Organization was found guilty on ALL counts against it:
A Manhattan jury has found two Trump Organization companies guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records connected to a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by failing to report and pay taxes on compensation for top executives.

The Trump Corp. and Trump Payroll Corp. were found guilty on all charges they faced.

Donald Trump and his family were not charged in this case, but the former president was mentioned repeatedly during the trial by prosecutors about his connection to the benefits doled out to certain executives, including company-funded apartments, car leases and personal expenses.

The Trump Organization could face a maximum of $1.61 million in fines when sentenced in mid-January. The company is not at risk of being dismantled because there is no mechanism under New York law that would dissolve the company. However, a felony conviction could impact its ability to do business or obtain loans or contracts.

The financial penalty may seem pretty small, considering the extent of the fraud. Still - we'll take it. Ultimately, the IRS can go back and demand the company refile amended returns, which could result in back taxes, interest on the unpaid amount, and penalties. They are looking at financial ruin. Coming up next on the docket, though, will have a much bigger impact on the Trump Crime family itself:
Former president Donald Trump padded his net worth by billions of dollars and habitually misled banks and others about the value of prized assets like golf courses, hotels and his Mar-a-Lago estate, New York’s attorney general said Wednesday in a lawsuit that seeks to permanently disrupt the Republican's ability to do business in the state.

Attorney General Letitia James dubbed it: “The art of the steal.”

The lawsuit, filed in state court in Manhattan, is the culmination of the Democrat's three-year civil investigation into Trump and the Trump Organization. Trump’s three eldest children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump, were also named as defendants, along with two longtime company executives.

Note that the date on this is from 2 1/2 months ago. In the meantime, there have been motions filed by NYS to stop TFG from transferring assets, and TFG attempting to sue the NYS AG to stop the investigation (against counsel, and unsuccessfully). That, coupled with the DOJ's special investigation into his election meddling and top secret document theft, is also moving forward, as TFG's attempts to throw up legal hurdles continue to fail.

He wanted to build a wall, and so he did - one of criminality that surrounds him, and continues to close in on him.

Pass the popcorn
