I thought the wings was on the bird?Yes, today is the first day of spring. It's been a cold rainy/snowy 6 weeks since groundhog day. In this neck of the woods, it's sunny and - while not exactly warm - warmer than it was several weeks ago. Our yard is actually dry.
Elsewhere in the country (and the world), weather has not been quite so nice recently. A powerful storm (a bomb cyclone, they called it) dropped an incredible amount of rain on the midwest. That - along with snow melt and ice dams - has caused major flooding. Even an Air Force base in Nebraska
was flooded.
