Here's a quick look at some of the people our rightie friends are trying vote in.
Who is Linda McMahon? Let's listen:
Oh her! Yes, the woman who made multi-millions on the homophobic, homoerotic, steroid fueled freak show for adolescents called World Wrestling Entertainment.
Try to guess which kind of movies this guy likes from his ad:
Wow! This guy is PISSED!! He's got my vote!
Hell yea! No damn Mosque near ground zero! Hell yea! YeHaw......... wait, where is he running? Alabama? Uh...... ?
Last, but not least, in case you've been under a rock you are sure to know, Basil Marceaux. He's got my vote!
By the way, he doesn't want to remove the "cold french fries" in the state, rather, the gold fringe flags in the state. Yeah, it took me awhile to.
Well, these are the men and women that are going to steamroll the Dems this year. Get ready.
It seems that we have fear, hatred, and inarticulate words being offered by the Republican Party this fall. I think that the Democrats need to try to deliver more to the base, many of whom are frustrated with the pace of change.
Mind you, if some of these candidates get in office, expect a rough time ahead.

This is what we are up against, and I truly believe that even with the disagreements that people may have -- if we fracture as a party (as evidence is starting show) we WILL end up with people like this running the county.
It's time for the left to come together to make sure we don;t let that happen. These people are lunatics-- but they are lunatics that may very well be walking the halls of congress --

If we don't vote this November, the lunatics will have taken over the asylum.

Perhaps the Obama administration should put all of its proposals before Congress, and give the GOP a chance to obstruct what the base would like to see. At this point, I think we have seen a failure of communication between party leaders and the base. If people feel that their views are not respected (See Rahm Emmanuels comment on progressives being retards) and their agenda is not worked, they tend to become apathetic.
