Hey everybody. I saw there was no blog post from Tri, and thought I'd put something up just in case. Short and sweet.

You've probably all heard about the various idiocies at the state legislative level going on. Well, Missouri Democrats came up with a way to combat it:

Democratic state Rep. Michael Frame was reprimanded by GOP Speaker Tim Jones for wearing a tinfoil hat, as a sartorial comment on the nature of the legislation before the House. This led to a brief debate about whether a cravat is appropriate attire.
...
At one point, a remote-control helicopter flew up from the floor to the press gallery, leading observers to their that a few legislators could have taken advantage of the dinner break prior to the evening session to enjoy some adult beverages.

“If you can't beat 'em with votes, baffle 'em with snark.” - appropriated from W.C. Fields

Happy Saturday, everybody!

Hi all.

I had a blog ready to go before 6:30 am this morning. I was going to find a reference to an older blog when it locked up. (I was getting a server error message.

I waited as long as I could, but I was off Scouting all day, so I had to get out of here. Bob & Raine must have missed my desperate pleas on the book of face this morning.

(Help me, Virginia wing of blog, you're my only hope...)

A brutal night in the salt mine. Waiting for a revised log and cover sheet from the home office for tomorrow because it wasn't known until late last night what time Game 6 of Rangers-Caps would be played (and since Toronto wasn't eliminated it has to air at the ungodly hour on Mother's Day at 4:30 PM). And we're short-staffed so I have to solo a lot of stuff.
