While the tRUmp Administration seems to not want to acknowledge it, June is Pride month so I'd like to wish everyone Happy Pride! We all have friends, family, frenemies or whichever who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and deserve the same rights as anyone else. Always remember Love is Love is Love is Love is Love is Love is Love..... infinity.

The other thing the tRump Administration is ignoring is Climate Change, cause ya know its cold in winter and hot in summer.

Thankfully so many plan on resisting this boneheaded move.

Bucking Trump, These Cities, States and Companies Commit to Paris Accord

The unnamed group — which, so far, includes 30 mayors, three governors, more than 80 university presidents and more than 100 businesses — is negotiating with the United Nations to have its submission accepted alongside contributions to the Paris climate deal by other nations.

So screw tRump, we do this ourselves! #Resist

This blog brought a big smile to my face.

Good morning!

Mornin' all..

Today on Morning Edition some idiot (either Wilbur Ross or GOP Rep Morgan Griffith) was citing a study to justify the BS claims that the Paris accord kills jobs.

I think he said it was a group called BERA or something. I can't find evidence that this study or the group even exists.

Gonna say it!

I care 'bout WW about as much as I did about most of the other superhero movies lately.

Now if we were talking about My Hero Academia, that'd be a different story!

Wonder woman was a shero of mine growing up and this movie looks really good.

For some reason, this is the only one I have looked forward to seeing in the theaters. Not a big super hero comic person.

Good morning, bloggers!!

I hope that everyone is well. As for Trump, I fear that he is trying to beat out George W. Bush and James Buchanan for the title of the worst president of the United States of America.

I do not want to be an old person like my Great Aunt Gussie (who is perhaps 104 and still sharp) and explain why our world is in such a sad shape, with some places where many now live existing only in our memories. So, let us rail against this administration and act.

I remember watching Wonder Woman as a kid and admiring the strength of character that the Amazon Princess showed, treating enemies with more dignity than a certain Orange-Faced Weasel Wearer treats allies. I have heard good things about this movie.

In some sad news, the local comic book shop where I organized and ran roleplaying games is closing. So, I am checking for new venues.

Me too! There's so much to do on the weekends anymore that it feels like I can't carve out like 2 1/2 hours just to go to a theatre

The actress playing Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot - was a combat trainer in the Israeli army for 2 years AND "Miss Israel" 2004. She is literally fierce AND beautiful.

Oh yeah - her grandparents were holocaust survivors. They couldn't have found a better person to play the part.

Same Raine and seriously its taken like 70+ years to get her a movie when Batman, Superman and the other have gotten a ton of crappy ones. All because Hollywood has been under the myth of female superheros don't sell. Glad they are all about to get the smushed in their faces.

Thing is though, I never questioned if Bush cared about the US. Thought he was shifty as hell but never a traitor.

Good morning, everybody.

Has it really been 7 years since Momma came out?

I still haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy 2 yet. It does look like Wonder Woman is the first good DC universe movie since the Dark Knight trilogy.

Hi all.

I tend not to bear the sins of the father, but fuck Trump, fuck his family, his descendants, and his forebears.

There are none more disgusting, self-centered, idiotic, and ignorant.

EXCEPT THOSE THAT VOTED FOR HIM.

This is a pretty big deal!

Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating possible ties between the Trump election campaign and Russia, is expanding his probe to include a grand jury investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, three sources told Reuters.

The move means Mueller’s politically charged inquiry will now look into Flynn’s paid work as a lobbyist for a Turkish businessman in 2016, in addition to contacts between Russian officials and Flynn and other Trump associates during and after the Nov. 8 presidential election.

Federal prosecutors in Virginia are investigating a deal between Flynn and Turkish businessman Ekim Alptekin as part of a grand jury criminal probe, according to a subpoena seen by Reuters.

Aaaaand, that is Boston City Hall. When it was built in 1968, it won a number of architectural awards, but since then it tends to win "Ugliest Building in America".

The lady nerd at my comic shop saw it, she liked it a lot. Gadot and Pine have good chemistry, the pacing was good, the only thing she thought was a bit weak was some of the CGI.

And this is how NBC is trying to revive their news magazine, especially putting it up against 60 Minutes. At least it would be off during football season.

I am a recent convert to Brutalism as a style. Some of them are magnificent, some are awful, like every architectural style. The FBI building not so much, but HUD, hell to the yes!

I can't think of better way to get back at him by cuckolding him. Especially with someone he would perceive as "the help."
