It's the day before Thanksgiving, so I imagine El Bloggo isn't going to get a lot of traffic today. Tomorrow is the one day of the year when we're supposed to be focus on what we're thankful for. Really, we should do that every day, but once a year perhaps at least helps keep us grounded.
I am thankful for all of the friends I've made and met through the years through the magic of The Internets. That includes all of the regulars (and not so regular) members of this blog. I recently got a notice from Photobucket (remember them?) about the long-standing account with them, and came across
this album of what was likely our first meetup in DC. One of the original founders - Al from WV - was briefly present.
I know that Clinster is thankful his son Ian was found safe and alive.
I hope we're all thankful that the Dems have kept the Senate (regardless of what happens in GA), and the loss of the House is minimal.
I hope all you dear readers can find something to be thankful for this year.
