Good morning, bloggers!!!
I hope that my friends on the blog are not facing the air quality issues that I have seen here in Northwest Indiana. On Thursday, the smoke was so thick that visibility was reduced to a few blocks as I drove. It looked like severe fog but the air was heavy.

Good Morning!
We too are back from our odyssey...and I was further on the road at the beginning of the month for Scout Camp.
Mickey and the gang are in their usual fine fettle...although I-95 and the parks themselves were literal ghost towns. (more on that later.)
"Sail Boston" was a complete bust back home. Another dear friend has left the trolley business (I hired him!) for something he wants to be "a little more recession-proof".
We spent the bulk of the trip at Lake Worth, FL - no more than five miles from Mar-A-Lardo. But he doesn't come down at this time of the year. I would say that local residents, whether red, blue, or purple, are pretty tired of him. My aunt tells me there is usually wall-to-wall coverage when he's in town....but when he isn't, it's like he doesn't exist at all.
Which was quite refreshing for a red cult state.

It was quiet on the other waterfront as well. Glad we got back before that Tropical storm developed and after the smoke from Cananda cleared.

We went through NYC yesterday right about kickoff time. Traffic was normal - you would have had no idea the First Felon was in town. No real smoke, but a huge haze layer in the upper atmosphere. You know the area - those wide-open spaces around the Jersey barrens looked real weird with no horizon - almost a sector whiteout and nearly 2-D.
