Sad Irony
Author: Raine    Date: 09/27/2010 12:24:40

Good Morning, I am still constructing a monday Morning thread worthy of something... But until then, I leave you with this segway into our "Isn't it Ironic" files:
Segway boss Jimi Heselden dies in scooter cliff fall

Mr Heselden acquired the Segway operation in 2010. The millionaire owner of the UK Segway company has died after apparently riding one of his company's motorised scooters off cliffs and into a river.

I'll be back in a bit.

&
Raine

The company is called Medical Reimbursement Systems, Inc. (MRSI).

They are located in Bedford, MA...very close to my home field at KBED and within 5 minutes of the store. (I'll be able to open up my availability some and maybe get more hours there, too!) It is full-time, permanent, benefits, etc.

I'm being called the "EDI Gatekeeper", but in practice I'll be doing more jack-of-all-trades stuff....updating the customer database, working with their clearinghouses on problem resolution, and some day-to-day production. I have already been told that this will likely be an introductory role; the company is poised to expand dramatically in the next 6 months - 1 year, so I am being hired more with an eye to the future and what I can do.

They were also impressed by my tenure at athenahealth; I was told in the interview that they have been identified as their primary competition. Which suits me just fine.

Which means the daytime internet will cease to exist for me on Tuesday, October 12. Please plan accordingly. (not to worry, AAV will not be affected. Just my ability to visit during the day.)

The sting of your absence will be tempered by the knowledge of your success.
