Half an hour of effort down the drain this morning. Still having computer problems.

Anyone know anything about rogue security programs? I fear this latest assault may prove mortal, given the ongoing disruption.

I hate when that happens.

That's when you feel like you want to go back to bed.

In light of the horrible story coming out of Penn State, I think this is an incredibly written piece from an alumni.

I have a few friends who attended school there, and I think this helps to understand what they are feeling and going thru.

An Open Letter to the World from a Penn State Alum

Please Say some prayers for TrojanRabbit and his dad.

Update

Dad was transferred to the rehab center yesterday, he seemed to be doing fine.

This morning he was having trouble breathing and the people at the rehab center couldn't help him so he was admitted to the emergency room.

He is definitely afraid to try walking again because he feels so weak he's afraid of falling

He'll need some time to get that courage back. I know my Oma was really afraid after she broke her hip a few years ago.

Hang in there Rabbit. I have a vanilla candle burning rightnow.

From what I understand now, his pain medications have essentially caused his stomach to shut down, which is putting pressure on his lungs so he can't breathe. They've intubated him, so that should relieve the pressure. Not life-threatening.

I'd light a candle, but Cleo is in full-blown wildcat mode, climbing everything.

Hi everyone. The titanic struggle has been successful (at last). I think I'm back online again.

The internet can be hell indeed.

In all the fuss over Herman Cain's gender malfeasance, it should not be forgotten that he is a dumbass. Witness:

Republican Herman Cain criticized President Barack Obama for canceling the space shuttle program — a decision actually made by President George W. Bush — as NASA shifts its focus on travel farther from Earth's orbit.

I am keeping Trojanrabbit and his Dad in my thoughts and prayers. Know that you are not alone.
