I know that as I get older, I see myself becoming more pragmatic, but certainly not more conservative.

Yeah, I don't find myself getting more conservative either. Now granted I am a little more "get off my lawn" about the crap that annoys me but that's mostly the kids in the neighborhood who never were taught to respect things that aren't theirs.
