It's now been about 18 hours since I deactivated my personal Facebook. Just finished setting up the work-only account. I expected to have a little bit of a hole in my attention last night. That much was kinda true. What I didn't expect tho was the rather unpleasant & difficult things that happened.

I have an interview this afternoon after work. So, I have a busy day ahead of me.
Talking Points Memo has an interesting story on a rift between the GOP House and Senate. My hope is that the ineptness of the incoming Trump administration and GOP infighting may help limit the damage that they do. It may be a vain hope, but I will take what hope I can find these days.
Another Facebook friend has passed - making two this year. With the passing of my Aunt Marlene and several prominent people I liked and admired, I will say that I will not think well of 2016.

60% I was being distracted far too much at work by everything (not just political stuff, but recreational as well).
40% I was in general tired of seeing that idiot's face or name or dealings non-stop.
I did create a work-only FB account this morning, so I can do the work that requires using FB and which will only be populated with related stuff. And my messenger tied to the other account is still active, which allows me to keep in touch with Mom & friends.

The first two minutes or so when they are one-upping each other on who's audience hates them more is flat out brilliant. Plus the sweaters are awful. I am so jelly of Beck's Xmas centaur sweater.

The only thing Beck has going for him is he's the only one left in the right-wing bubble who didn't cave in to supporting Trump. There are also the rumors that the Blaze is hemmoraging money, and may not be able to stay in business much longer.
