Still basking in the afterglow of Saturday. I haven't even looked t the news yet.

Good morning!

Ain't much going on except for a bunch of children shutting the government down.

Just hoping the Democrats don't cave to McTurtletraitor and Liftbro. Republicans can't be trusted under any circumstances.

If it weren't for people actually getting financially hurt, I'd like to see this extend to next Tuesday so we can see Donnie Littledick throw a fit.

But if the government's shut down can there be a SotU?

At some point Donnie won't be able to stay away from the golf course, then things will happen.

At work Thursday, the firm had a one hour meeting with the Chairman. He described how important it was and how hard they were working to ensure diversity in the firm's workforce, particularly as it applied to having more female partners.

Today the COO posted in the firm's private "facebook" page pictures from the women's march in Miami with the hashtag #equalityforall

Yeah - it doesn't suck working for The Man when he's this cognizant.

Well this day has started off well.. forgot my phone at home, bus was late so I missed my transfer, had to take a cab cuz I couldn't call a lyft & it was 2.5x the price.. got in and the office network was totally down.. and once it was back up I found the boss & I had been working on different QB databases for the past week & we had to merge the two files.

Good Morning.

Unexpectedly at the store today. They had a callout, and I happened to be nearby in Needham, so I skimmed out for a few hours.

Of course, this puts paid my plans to swim this afternoon and lounge in the sauna at the Y, but there is money to be made.

BTW, I spent the weekend musing, if you happened to miss it last night.

I"m very sorry they lost their lives, that is heart breaking. But does she understand that insurance payouts aren't instantaneous? If they died on Saturday 1/20/18 then its going to take some time to get through any paper work. They wouldn't have the money on Monday morning 1/22/18 no matter if the government was open or closed.

I agree, we can't trust McConnell. I really hope the Dems to have a detailed plan of attack when McConnell again doesn't do any kind of DACA fix.

That McTurtle gave a verbal agreement on the senate floor -- That's a good thing. I understand dreamers being upset, but I think we will get it. At least millions of Children aren't being held hostage.

The GOP has less leverage than before imo.
