I am not sure I am buying this as anything more than a stunt -- especially with these paragraphs:

Heller is facing a tough GOP primary challenge ahead of the 2018 midterm elections from Las Vegas businessman Danny Tarkanian.
That said, this is very concerning, and I hope for the good of the nation he waits until after the Midterms .
