Good Morning. Since I am sure it will be a slow news week, I draw your attention to an amazing investigative piece from Washinton Post writer, David Farenthold. It's dense and long, but it starts to connect a lot of dots of the resident of the White House and his shady ways with money. These cash transactions scream of Money Laundering, IMO, and we will get the truth one day.

In other news, where in the world will Rudy show up today?

Mornin' all..

So the minor leak that I have under my kitchen sink turned out to be the Scituate Reservoir. I spent all weekend mopping it up, cleaning out the mold & other shit that had taken residence under there, then washed the kitchen floor & half the wood flooring in the common room of my apartment.

The wash water from cleaning the floor leaked from the sink drain pipe (I think?), refilling the lake. I laid out another whole roll of paper towels to soak it up before I left for work.

water leaks are the worst, for the very reasons you mentioned

You heard that former Secretary John Kerry has been working on "shadow diplomacy" with Iran? He's been in touch with his former contacts over there, trying to work a back-door deal so the nuclear agreement doesn't collapse entirely. Maybe this is the fruit?

What do you think are the biggest unanswered questions about your story?

I guess two things. One would be: Have I seen the whole universe? Are there other all-cash transactions out there that I haven’t found. And No. 2 is: What was their cash flow? Eric Trump has said that their existing properties were throwing off so much money that it wasn’t a big deal to dip into them to buy an $80 million golf course, in the case of Turnberry [in Scotland]. Nothing that I have seen from the outside indicates that they have that level of liquidity, but I haven’t seen very much from the outside. The next question is about the sources of their cash flow from this period, and where their cash was coming from. That would help us understand a little bit more the context around Eric’s explanation.

Just heard that the NRA's board has chosen Oliver North to be its new President.

I guess now that's it's proven that they're a lobbying arm for traitors & foreign interests, you might as well have a figurehead that fits the same mold.

The whole Iran-Contra scandal was a giant shit on the Constitution. I wonder if Nixon was prosecuted instead of pardoned for Watergate, would we ever had gotten the criminal activity or even the administrations of Reagan, the two Bushes, and Trump.
