The Morning After
Author: Raine    Date: 12/26/2018 14:11:36

Good Morning. I hope that your holiday was peace-filled and comforting. I know that times these can be rough for many.

I can't bring myself on this day after Christmas to speak of the blights we are facing. You see the news as much as I. We are 8 days away from The Democratic party taking majority control of the House of Representatives and that's something I look forward too.

8 days. That's the equivalent of 4 months these days. We've come this far and I know we are going to see this end.

On our last week of this crazy year, I take great comfort in knowing you are my friends.

Namaste.

Raine

Good morning, bloggers!!

I spent yesterday with my sister and Mom. I am relaxing before I get into housework.

Let me share something from Facebook after Bob Kincaid posted about the death of another Guatemalan child at the border: "It is awful that I have come to expect such tragedies as the logical outcome of cruel policies."

Does anyone know if Thom Hartmann will be live? I know that Bob Kincaid and the HORN will be live at 6 Eastern/5 PM Central.

Morning - after having such a lazy day yesterday, I am trying to get myself motivated to do something today

Good evening.

After a somewhat questionable holiday with my family, it looks like good news for one of my clients.

Someone who has been needing their own place to live for a very long time - out of the blue an affordable apartment seems to be available. The building is brand new and in a wonderful location. (Heck, *I'd* like to live there.)

We'll know for sure by the end of the week. This would be an amazing end to a very sad year for me.
