Swirling Towards Freedom

Do you ever get the sensation that everything is tending towards chaos? Those who favor astrology might save Mercury is in retrograde (whatever the hell THAT is), but there are just to many "fingernail on the blackboard" stories to focus on just one and give it the attention it deserves.

Bernie Sanders is once again going to be the fly in the ointment of the Democratic primary process. Always the carpetbagger, he won't really commit to the party he wants to be in charge of, he just wants to use it for his own selfish designs. And of course - his insufferable cultist followers will once again be insufferable, and claim it's "fixed" when he loses.

pResident tRump claims there's a national emergency at the border so he can attempt to violate the Constitution to steal funds for his vanity project. It won't work, but this will be argued on its merits rather than get him booted from office for trying to circumvent the document he vowed to uphold and protect. And like Dubya - he's off playing golf right after proclaiming a serious problem.

Former acting FBI Director McCabe revealed that tRump believes Russia over our own intelligence agencies.

Brexit is about to go nuclear in Britain, with the resulting economic fallout likely to poison the economies of the rest of the world.

The racists have gone full ugly, with a California man attacking a Sikh store clerk because he thought he was muslim, and a woman cussing out Mexican workers in a Mexican restaurant for speaking Spanish to each other.

Rich people are buying young people's blood in an effort to thwart aging.

And of course yet another major storm (make that two!) will create hardship, probably death, and economic turmoil for us. But hey - trying to reduce carbon emissions is "too expensive".

It's always darkest before the dawn, right? Let's hope so...

Morning

You know there are days when I wish it would just all break apart so it just be over and done with. Can't take the chaos and the anger and frustration it brings, cause ya can't turn a blind eye to it. Its like living in a constant tense mode.

Good morning. I did not spend the night at the hospital, but may very well tonight. Surgery scheduled for 3:30 today. Not doing well at all, but that is the symptoms. As well as an 85-year-old man can tolerate surgery and anesthesia, we are hoping for improvement.

Wandering around the medical district, waiting for news. Disappointed to find that neither Harvard Medical nor the Boston Latin Academy are terribly photogenic.
