Defeat the fascist
Author: Raine    Date: 06/06/2019 13:05:36

I'm angry that the person representing the United States of America at the 75th anniversary of D-Day to defeat fascism is a fascist white supremacist.

I know that the day is about much more, but I can't get this out of my thought process. 10 years from now we will likely have no more veterans or spouses of these men and women who saved the world from the greatest threat it had seen until then.

During the ceremony, (15 minutes or so he read his remarks) french tv filmed him giving an interview to Fox' Laura Ingraham -- with his back to the participants on the stage. He's a disgrace to our nation and our allies.

That is all.

and

Raine

Morning

Thank you, didn't know about the delaying because of Laura Ingraham, just pissed at all the fawning over him the press is doing because he didn't crap his pants.

He's still the same disgusting piece of human crap.

I feel really bad about it. I wanted to write about the anniversary itself, but I just can't get the disappointment out of my head.

He actually said Ireland should build a wall on the Northern Ireland border.

Think he's trying to get out of his deal and go for the pardon?

I could not watch any of the ceremonies this morning. Listened for about 5 minutes, then I had to find something more soothing. There was some roadwork down the street; the jackhammers helped clear my head.

I'm sorry veterans; the United States can do so much better than what was sent to Normandy today.

As he was droning on, I could only think of one thing. Dig up the old Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force" (yes, the one with the Nazis) and watch the end where the drugged 'Fuehrer' was making his forced speech. Our President reminded me of that today.

I guess when you got a judge who has essentially called him a traitor, and he's afraid they might find stuff he didn't reveal when he went for the plea deal. And considering what Manafort is doing, he might want to take a gamble. Too many weasels in the company of Trump. (Which is an insult to the weasels).
