Rumor has it
Author: Raine    Date: 07/16/2020 13:06:43

Today, on behalf of 4F, I am sending all our love and support to our Scoopster. He's having surgery today.

I have seen rumors that the Washington NFL team might be shedding something else. There are reports that sometime today, a bombshell report will drop regarding the owner.

I know that might not count for news as many here are not fans of the NFL, but I would like some good news -- as in 'finally' a comeuppance for badly behaved rich white men.

Dan Snyder is right up there with them.

Meanwhile, Brad Parscale is out as the Campaign manager. Since we are talking rumors, He was demoted after he was caught 'canoodling' with White House aide Hope Hicks at --wait for it-- Comet Pizza. In non-rumor news, Ms. Hicks dated former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former White House aide Rob Porter.

All three were fired by Trump. Only the best people, I tell ya

Let's start wrapping up this week

&
Raine

Good morning, bloggers!!!

I am wising Scoopster the best today.

Locally, here is the big story: Classes should be held remotely this fall, Chicago Teachers Union Says.

Closer to home (I am less than 10 minutes from the Illinois state line and 15 minutes or so from the nearest part of Chicago.), Lake County, Indiana schools have released a complex plan, We don't know if we will be in class as some kids stay home for e-learning, have a mixed e-learning/in class model, or close down.

If Joe Biden becomes president, he may well have to order a national shutdown. I don't see how else we can get a handle on this pandemic.

I am back from the podiatrist. Waiting on insurance to approve the mold for my foot because insurance is such a fucking bureaucracy.

From AP news, Richmond Schools will go with online classes only this fall.

PG County here in Maryland announced it yesterday morning.

We live 2 blocks from an elementary school and I sorely miss saying hi to the kids coming home from school. saying hi to the dogs and asking them how they are doing.

That said, I want to see them safe in the future, my needs are not theirs.
