I'm overwhelmed

Between the feds beating protestors and gassing moms in Portland, the occupant bragging about a cognitive test, and every other crappy thing that is going on, I am just overwhelmed.
This is sheer insanity that is being inflicted on the citizenry. I don't think there is anything else I could write this morning -- I am just angry.
Anyone got any good news? I could use some.

I finally downloaded the new Chicks album the other night. Thank goodness I got a large itunes GC, gonna have to check out Folklore now

Good morning, bloggers!!!
I was out yesterday for many things, including the social distancing funeral for a friend's Mom. I also spent some time with friends.
In some good news, which Raine said is needed, I am applying to some new jobs at good school districts that have opened up. Apparently, some teachers are retiring.
In more good news, I got to pamper my friend Laura's 19-year-old beagle Harley with some treats. (He has such resilience that I have to wonder if he has some dire worlf DNA.)
As we need hope, I will say I don't think that most Americans are falling for the strategy of the current regime in Washington, DC. It is time for lawsuits and peaceful protests. It is time for supporting good causes. It is time to show that the flag that Benjamin Franklin saw in Philadelphia at the Constitutional Convention was not a setting sun. In the end, it is up for us. In the words of Hillel the Sage, "If I am not for myself, who will be. If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?"

Good afternoon all!
First night back at home was.. well, mostly normal. I'm able to function pretty well solo again.
Now this damn swelling just needs to go away. It shifted from the left side of my face to the right, and along with it the earache. however the drain hole is on the right side, so more fluid is draining now. I guess that's a plus! Visiting nurse should be here soon.

That was really scary and VERY loud. Anyone else hear or seem them? They were heading south pretty much along the Rt. 1 Corridor.
I live a few miles away from Joint Base Andrews. I regularly see aircraft going to and from the base. This was highly unusual.
