One local TV station's morning news broadcasts for weeks running lead with the assassination attempt of Donald dump. Because I prefer this station's style of morning news, I muted the sound during those pieces, then turned it back on for the rest of the broadcasts.
All this week there have been zero reports about the DNC - even after our governor's big barnstormer of a speech Wednesday night. Not one mention of him on that incredible national stage. Multiple local politicians were at the DNC - I recognized them in the crowds.
Our Lt. Governor spoke earlier in the week.
Not one peep on the local morning newscast about any of that.
This morning they showed a photograph of Kamala Harris - just a picture, no video, no soudbytes. not a single detail about her speech at all - and *mentioned* that she had accepted the nomination.
Then freaking video of drumpf walking around somewhere in our state and a big deal about him calling Kamala a Marxist.
Turned them off and switched to another broadcast.
