Tea Party Party
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 07/18/2010 14:25:56

Once again, Velveeta has fallen prey to the lure of a tea party without tea.

I was gleefully ecstatic upon hearing that one of our Reps from the great state of Minn. wanted to start a tea party in Congress! It's about time, thought I. That house is filled with anger and vile ire and petty discontent and bickering. A nice cup of Lady Grey with cream is just what they need to calm down and be more pleasant with each other. Studies have shown that drinking tea in a cordial and calming setting can doubly increase one productivity and it can be done in a gentlemanly and ladylike fashion.

The American people are doing their part and making their voices heard and this caucus will prove that there are some here in Washington willing to listen.

THANK YOU MICHELE BACHMANN, is what I was thinking. Okay, so at first I thought she said "party" not "caucus". Secondly, who wouldn't agree with that statement? We DO want our voices heard! I think we were pretty darn tooting loud when we elected President Obama, turning several of the Red states Blue.

But alas, my excitement bubble burst into a thousand tears when I realized she was talking about the ridiculous "Tea Party" movement that wants less taxes, less government and less colored people. She wants to organize this movement into something cohesive. Good luck with that Ms. Bachmann. You have a long hard road ahead of you.

But, I can help with some idea's to get you started. Let's see.....

Logo: How about the Gadsen flag's snake overlaid on the Rebel flag? Oh my, that is so perfect for the Tea Party that I can't think of anything more appropriate.
You've got your red, white and blue, your stars, and even your animal all in one logo. Just like the GOP has the elephant and the Dems have the donkey. Snake, perfect!

Catch phrase: Every party needs one. Hmm, yours should be something that kind of sums up your party to draw people in since it's a new party. Here's a few of the top of my head:

Tea Party - Small Government + endless wars = no schools, hospitals or highways!
Tea Party - Free, white and toting guns!
Tea Party - This party brought to you by FOX News Network. Visit us at Foxnews.com
Tea Party - Where 'Global Warming' means more BBQ's!
Tea Party - Hands OFF! It's mine! Get your own!

Anyway, your welcome to use any of these ideas Ms. Bachmann. Have at it. Meantime, I'm going to have a real tea party, with real tea and pastries and real, hardworking people that enjoy friendly and lively discussions without spittle frothing from their mouths.
