There is Hope!

There is hope and decency to be had in this nation. We saw that last night with Doug Jones defeating Roy Moore.
Doug Jones’s victory in a part of the Deep South that has not elected a Democratic senator since 1992 was a dramatic repudiation of his opponent, Roy Moore, a former state judge twice removed from office.

Supported by former Trump chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, Moore responded to allegations that he made sexual advances toward teenagers when he was in his 30s by describing his campaign as a “spiritual battle” against Washington’s Republican and Democratic leaders.

Democrats called for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to immediately seat Jones. Meanwhile, Republicans — still smarting from their defeat — began pointing fingers at one another.

November was big, This election is big and we need to keep the momentum going into next year.

There is hope for this nation still, regardless of my preferred party, a moral win happened in Alabama last night and I thank the voters there from the deepest parts of my soul.

I'm just gonna drop this here. tRumpterism deserves it.

Keep resisting, keep speaking and keep going, we WILL take this country back. Last night was another step out of this nightmare.

I also have deep gratitude for our free press, in this case, The Washington Post who told the world that we were on a precipise of electing a man who molested teenege females.

We have a long way to go, but know this:

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”
