Today is Groundhog Day, that time every year when a furry rodent is ceremoniously pulled from it's lair, held up for display, than uses its special meteorological powers to determine what the weather will be like for the next 6 weeks. The source of this special power is based on the fact that it's never had a vaccine, and --- WHAT?? YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!! GO DO YOUR RESURCH!!!

Good Monday Morning, I am happy to report that Bobber is well on the mend. The Surgery and the post-op recovery went according to his surgeon "Exceedingly Well" and he returned home Thursday.

Soooo, in case you haven't heard Virginia has a new governor. Only 11 days in and he's been horrific and awful and trying to "rule" by EO's. The new Lt Gov and AG are both awful too btw.

But trying to stop them and holding the Blue Wall in Virginia is Madame President Pro Tempore Senator Louise Lucas. She is a bad ass rockstar who, as she puts it, "is a 78 yo grandma who helped legalize pot and now has her own cannibis store". She will also proudly tell everyone (with a chuckle) that its on High Street in Portsmouth. She also channels ninja style legislative skills, Gen Z, and humor to get the job done.

How did I not know of this woman before now?!!! If you don't follow her on twitter - think about it, you won't be sorry - Madame President (Louise Lucas).
