Over the weekend we learned that North Korea launched a mid-range ballistic missile that flew about three hundred miles before falling into the water. It happened when Prime Minister Abe was meeting with the president at his club in Florida.

Stop Being Mean
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 02/12/2017 15:36:30

Why are there so many bullies these days? It's truly unAmerican, isn't it? Imagine if our ancestors had come to this country and bullied the sad little uneducated savages that lived here? Thankfully, we came to America and gathered them together, put them together in large groups on swampy or infertile land and allowed them to have casinos as long as a white person ruled them. That's how it should be done!

Good Morning.

I've got to shovel three inches of global warming off my sidewalk before I can get to the store today. (chortle, guffaw).

Press On
Author: BobR    Date: 02/08/2017 14:52:49

With pResident tRump firmly ensconced in the Oval Office, there's been a lot of talk about dictators and autocrats. While tRump may think he was supreme power to do what he wants, he is slowly learning that we are indeed a democracy, and his every whim will not be catered too... at least - not as long as there is an opposition.

Here in DC there is a museum dedicated to the sacred notion of a free press, and those who have been sacrificed maintaining it. Our Founding Fathers felt it necessary to include it in the very first amendment to the Constitution. With that in mind, it's clear that the tRump Regime has acted in a way that deserves comparison to countries like Syria and Cuba where dissent is squashed with an iron fist: he has targeted the press.

Good Morning.

It's been a little difficult to bookmark stories for our little corner of the internets these days. Unlike previously, it seems that if I see something interesting, by the time our timeslot rolls around, it's often stale or irrelevant. That used to not happen a lot.

Worse than I could've imagined.

And I imagined some pretty awful stuff. This however? Insane.
If President Trump values loyalty so much, why hasn’t he been able to stop the constant flow of leaks from inside his White House? The latest dispatch from the New York Times’ Glenn Thrush and Maggie Haberman suggest the Trump administration has far bigger problems on its hands:

Aides confer in the dark because they cannot figure out how to operate the light switches in the cabinet room. Visitors conclude their meetings and then wander around, testing doorknobs until finding one that leads to an exit. In a darkened, mostly empty West Wing, Mr. Trump’s provocative chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, finishes another 16-hour day planning new lines of attack.

Good Morning.

I skimmed the news. I just can't. There's nothing new today that we haven't already written about extensively. Nevertheless, I'll post one - it's the littlest victim of Trump's Folly.
