Yesterday's election was true to form - lot's teeth gnashing, prognosticating about huge wins a losses for one party or another, and then finally what looks like almost no change whatsoever. There are still plenty of seats too close or too early to call as of this writing, but the end result will likely be more of the same.
Per CNN's election tracking site, the Dems actually flipped one seat in their favor. That would be John Fetterman beating Dr. Oz, a win we can all look at with satisfaction. It's still possible for the Dems to lose a couple (NV and possibly AZ). Wisconsin is amazingly close, which means the Biggest Asshole in the Senate (Republican Ron Johnson) could possibly lose.

There is no way to know what next week is going to hold at this point. Its stressful and anxiety inducing.
No matter what happens, we regroup, and keep fighting on all levels. Our ancestor's did, so can we, and they did it going uphill both ways in waist deep snow.
I want everyone to breathe. No stroking out! No having heart attacks from the stress! Paraphrasing John Fugalsang, we need to all be alive when Trashhole finally kicks the bucket, and he will, lord knows he's rotting from the inside (have you seen recent pictures?).

This is my last blog before election day. The polls show races "tightening", like they always do. What does this mean? In reality - it means nothing. Polls will often get the results they want, for whatever motivation, whether it's to push an agenda, a particular candidate, or to just keep eyes on screens.
