How Many Ways?

How many ways does someone have to tell you who they are even after they have shown you who they are? Exhibit one:
Fast forward nine years, and one month into the Obama Administration. These chuckleclowns drew national attention There were belligerent and angry, willing to believe all the propaganda fed to them by racist fearmongers, radio hosts, and the ilk that includes the likes of Roger Stone. I know first hand, I found myself in the middle of them during the ACA debate on Capitol Hill. They were dangerous then and the GOP embraced it.
Let's go to January 6, 2021. The following videos are from the FBI YouTube account. They have warning before viewing and rightfully so.
On Friday, the RNC censured Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for participating in the investigation of the events that led up to and on January 6, 2021.
They have been telling us for decades who they are, and They have been showing us that they will condone acts of violence by their followers to get as much power and money as they can. The Republican party, on Friday, February 4th sanctioned violence, defication, death, assault, vandalism, terror and insurrection as their preferred political platform in the guise of "legitimate political discourse".
This is a fascist movement. It is wrapped in a flag, and it is wearing a cross. How many more ways can they tell you who they are before you become their victim?
I am still a resister, and I am anti-fascist.

Perhaps the most famous operative on the scene was Nixon’s “dirty trickster†himself: Roger Stone.
In a 2008 New Yorker profile, Stone claimed he had been recruited by none other than James Baker III, the former secretary of state leading the Bush recount team, and that it was Stone’s idea to court protesters via Cuban radio.
“The idea we were putting out there was that this was a left-wing power grab by Gore, the same way Fidel Castro did it in Cuba,†he told Jeffrey Toobin. "We were very explicitly drawing that analogy.â€

Our democracy is in grave danger. We have a political party now calling an attack on the Capitol a form of political discourse.
The GOP is looking at a model of government embraced by Putin, Erdogan, and Orban. Control of elections, freedoms curtailed, and other hallmarks of totalitarianism. Either we choose to be a democracy or we face a grave crisis where we will wonder how we lost the rights we have.

This is right in line with what I was trying to convey today, but more stark.
In the year-plus since the events of Jan. 6, 2021, the Republican Party has morphed, like an evil insect emerging from a chrysalis, into its final form: a terrorist organization. Rather than purging from its ranks those Republicans who supported, endorsed and participated in Donald Trump's coup attempt, the party and its leaders have rallied around them, and remade the party in their image. Rather than voting to impeach and convict Donald Trump, and therefore drive him out of the party, Republican leaders, along with the bulk of their voters and their mouthpieces in the media, have chosen to support him.
