Morning all,
In honor of Judge Luttig enjoy this cute sloth. I felt a little bad for all the flack he was getting on Twitter, apparently he has a speech impediment.
Through it all though, his point was well made.

I have written, as you said, Chairman Thompson, that today, almost two years after that fateful day in January 2021, that still Donald Trump and his allies and supporters are a clear and present danger to American democracy. That's not because of what happened on January 6th. It's because, to this very day, the former president, his allies, and supporters pledge that, in the presidential election of 2024, if the former president or his anointed successor as the Republican Party presidential candidate were to lose that election, that they would attempt to overturn that 2024 election in the same way that they attempted to overturn the 2020 election, but succeed in 2024 where they failed in 2020. I don't speak those words lightly.

Also, is it just me or does it sound more and more like Eastman if being set up to take the fall for TFG? I mean we all know Eastman is as guilty as sin but it felt like TFG's lackeys threw him under the bus as multiple times.

Greetings, comrades. A rarity in the TriSec compound - an actual day off.
We are at least 15 drivers short heading into the busy season. It is shades of 2018, right before we cleaned house. I was not yet head conductor, but I knew what was going on. We had tremendous burnout and turnover, and by October we were literally having an accidant a day due to driver fatigue. We are headed that way again, it seems.
But I'm not head conductor now - So it's not my headache this summer.
We are at least 15 drivers short heading into the busy season. It is shades of 2018, right before we cleaned house. I was not yet head conductor, but I knew what was going on. We had tremendous burnout and turnover, and by October we were literally having an accidant a day due to driver fatigue. We are headed that way again, it seems.

Enjoying the day off with Sophie.
Ultrasound confirmed kidney disease but no infection or cancer. In addition some irritation in the GI tract. Nothing unusual for a 14 year of kitty.
She's almost transitioned to her new diet and seems to like it.

Indeed, but the curious thing is he's dropping his lawsuit to contest action by the committee and DOJ against him. That seems to mean he's either a) cutting a deal, or
realizing the futility of those lawsuits.

Good morning from cloudy California, where the June Gloom is dominating the skies of Los Angeles.
I have a ton of applications out there and I can see that some districts have already viewed them. Hopefully, I will get some calls for interviews soon. (I am still waiting to hear back from one place.)

As for the hearings, I suspect that we will learn a lot more.
The question I have is how many people are paying attention. At least I can hope that Merrick Garland is paying attention.

3. I don't think anybody except a bunch of Gravy SEALS and Proud Boys is going to jail behind this shit.
