How many of you remember the movie Protocol? You know the one, Goldie Hawn is a DC cocktail waitress who gets shot in the butt saving a visiting dignitary from an assassination attempt and gets rewarded with a great government job because she is very charming and sweet, if not a bit on the ignorant side. It was one of those little rom/coms from the mid-eighties that despite its wackiness had a good message at the end.

Oh Rudy
Author: BobR    Date: 05/03/2018 13:21:39

Rudy Giuliani, Mr. "Noun, verb, and 9/11", was brought onto tRump's team on Thurs April 26th. It seemed like an odd choice, but Rudy said he was there to "negotiate an end to this for the good of the country",That certainly seemed like an odd choice of words. Based on his actions over the last 24 hrs, one would have to wonder for whose side he is negotiating.

In what was a bit of a bombshell yesterday, Rudy let the cat out of the bag; he admitted what we've known all along, that tRump paid back Cohen for paying off Stormy Daniels.

What was it tRump said last month? Oh yeah...

Good Morning.

It's going to be an unfortunately easy write for me today. Here is all you need to know about Mr. Trump's commitment to our veterans.

Feign Outrage
Author: Raine    Date: 04/30/2018 13:00:22

Good morning. First things first: Read Velveeta's blog post from yesterday.

I think that encapsulates the entire brouhaha from the White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday night. In the meantime, those that feel like Sarah Sanders was treated badly , I would like to introduce you to Sarah Sanders:

Glorious Night!
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 04/29/2018 16:52:24

After a spectacular phone appearance on Fox And Friends, the President deserved a night out with MILLIONS of his fans. Last night he flew to Washington Michigan to deliver a rousing speech about all his accomplishments. The speech ran 6 and a half hours long, and he really didn't get to tout every great thing he's done. What I want to know is, why do these fake news people plan a party in DC on the same time that the President is out of town? It's like they didn't learn from last year. What morons.

Incompetence
Author: BobR    Date: 04/26/2018 12:29:20

Incompetence.

If there was a single word that summed up the tRump "administration", it would be that. His executive orders keep getting overturned by the courts. His picks for cabinets are often diametrically opposed to the positions they occupy. Those that manage to get past a Senate confirmation hearing (new motto: "We're tRump's Rubber stamp!") or don't require confirmation are bumbling badly or flame out spectacularly (example: EPA Chief Scott Pruitt).

Good Morning.

Heading right into the news cycle, it looks like Mr. Trump's next nominee to be secretary of Veteran's Affairs may be dead on arrival. The Republican-led Senate has postponed any such hearings until such time the nominee's position on privatization have been made clear.
