Heading right into the news cycle, it looks like Mr. Trump's next nominee to be secretary of Veteran's Affairs may be dead on arrival. The Republican-led Senate has postponed any such hearings until such time the nominee's position on privatization have been made clear.

A strange, glowing ball of light has appeared over New England. The sky is an unnatural color of blue-ish. And nothing is falling from the sky today.

Good Morning.

It's school vacation week around here, and as we all know, yesterday was the Patriot's Day holiday around these parts. It was, in fact, a complete shitshow. The only thing that went off without a hitch was the Boston Marathon. I have posted my annual retelling of the tale, and if you missed it Saturday, you'll surely want to check it out.

They couldn't be more different; Ivanka our current temporary Sec. of State and the only man who speaks truth in all caps all the time, Alex Jones. But other than President/Chief of Staff/Communications Director Donald Trump, they're the most powerful people in our country.
