Good Morning.

I was just skimming the news, and a couple of consecutive stories leaped out at me.

But before I get to them, I want you to go backwards into your own memory banks. We've all had them, but do you remember any of your vaccinations? Most of us won't, as the bulk of them happened when we were babies. But I distinctly remember getting polio and smallpox via the school. I also have a tetanus booster every now and again (and so should you, if you haven't recently), and of course we get the flu vaccine every year.

Good Morning.

Let's dive right in, shall we? We'll start this morning in Washington, where the Secretary of Defence is making flowery claims that the recent pinprick strike on a previously-alerted airfield actually destroyed 20% of Syria's aircraft. Whether these were armed and ready to strike, or were merely abandoned relics in the desert was not made clear.

See what I did there? I find myself in the fabulous N. C. State on this morn.

We had not the best day on the road yesterday. so we start from Lumberton with 800 miles to run home.

I'll be doing most of the driving today, so I doubt I'll have many updates until we get in.
