Good Morning.

It's been a little difficult to bookmark stories for our little corner of the internets these days. Unlike previously, it seems that if I see something interesting, by the time our timeslot rolls around, it's often stale or irrelevant. That used to not happen a lot.

And I imagined some pretty awful stuff.This however? Insane.
If President Trump values loyalty so much, why hasn’t he been able to stop the constant flow of leaks from inside his White House? The latest dispatch from the New York Times’ Glenn Thrush and Maggie Haberman suggest the Trump administration has far bigger problems on its hands:

Aides confer in the dark because they cannot figure out how to operate the light switches in the cabinet room. Visitors conclude their meetings and then wander around, testing doorknobs until finding one that leads to an exit. In a darkened, mostly empty West Wing, Mr. Trump’s provocative chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, finishes another 16-hour day planning new lines of attack.

Have you heard about this trend of rainbow food or unicorn food? I had not either until until I was watching some baking show and one of the participates proclaimed that she was famous in her town for unicorn hot chocolate. I had to google. Apparently it is a concoction of white chocolate, milk, heavy cream, vanilla and an explosion of anything edible with bright or sparkly colors.

Liar-in-Chief

We've always known tRump was a liar. During the campaign, his statements were factchecked, and he was found to be absolutely lying 50% of the time, and mostly lying another 20%. That is a LOT of blatant lying. Sadly, there were enough voters who either believed him, or didn't care, and by the magic of our electoral system, put him in office with a minority of the vote.

What we can hope they WILL care about is when he does not fulfill those promises he made (and those unspoken via dog whistle rhetoric and incomplete sentences). He's been in office less than 2 weeks, but already he's blowing off some of the big ones.

I am sure that by now you have heard that a white supremacist now has a seat at the National Security Council.
President Trump has reorganized the National Security Council by elevating his chief strategist Steve Bannon and demoting the Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Now, Bannon will join the NSC's principals committee, the top inter-agency group for discussing national security. The National Security Council is the staff inside the White House that coordinates decision making by the president on such matters, in coordination with outside departments including the State Department and the Pentagon.

Oh it's good to be back. Dear readers, what a traumatic experience your Velveeta suffered last week; I was KIDNAPPED! I simply attended the inauguration on Friday - and OH what a glorious day it was, then whilst taking a tour of our nation's capital on Saturday, I was swept up in what can only be described as a mob of angry lesbian baby killers! I was paralyzed with fear and even if I'd wanted to move I was surrounded by a mass of bodies, yelling and screaming and large signs and, and......... it was horrible! I'm sure I passed out several times, only to awake with yet another foul-laden chant drowning out my wails.
