Johnson Weld: STAT!
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 10/23/2016 17:16:46

You may have seen signs around your town proudly advertising a thing called "Johnson Weld" and immediately thought it was a new male medical procedure. You were close; they are actually a comedy duo that is running for President of the U.S.A.

How do you vote?
Author: TriSec    Date: 10/22/2016 11:13:41

Good Morning.

Thirty-two Novembers ago, I was getting ready to cast my very first Presidential Ballot. It was 1984; perhaps you remember the times. At that precocious political age, I was dead-set against the incumbent, so I cast my ballot for a gentleman from Minnesota. We all know how well that went. After this week's debate and last night's Al Smith dinner, where someone took it way too seriously, it feels like we need a palate cleanser.

Good Morning.

Seems like there has been a lot going on in Iraq of late - almost feels like the old days around here. So we shall start in that desert kingdom today. By now you've certainly heard about the Kurd-led offensive in Mosul. It's being sold as Iraqi-led in the US media, but our friends at the BBC have categorized the troops as 80% Peshmerga, or Kurds...which doesn't make Turkey too happy.

Good Morning.

It's been a week now since our encampment in the city of Boston. Last weekend was the only weekend all year where it was cold and rainy, so naturally we had a scouting event.

Today is clear and sunny, and tomorrow is expected to be near 70, and since there was a freeze last night, Monday and Tuesday will be true "Indian Summer" back around 80, if the forecast holds.
