While I've been trying to keep the Fridays very lighthearted, but I would like to take a second to send out a giant cosmic "Thank You" to all those who serve our country both past and present, two legged and four. You have a difficult job and are willing to risk your life for the safety of others. Thank You.

I hope everyone has a good and safe Memorial Day Weekend.

I liked it too, and I admit, I didn't want to like it.

I have yet to see the second one.

Pet Peeve # 2075. Mala, I love you, but have conflated Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. Memorial Day commemorates our war dead. Veteran's honors those who have served in the armed forces.

:tucks soapbox away: Thus endeth the rant. Who wants pie?

Yes, I do know that Memorial Day is for those who have passed. Most people, however don't get off on Veterans Day so they tend to roll it all into a big ball hence my using it as an umbrella day.

Yep, pretty much. For all of genius at producing amazing records (except Let it Be), Spector is pretty much a train wreck of human being. Paranoid as all hell, a long history of domestic battery- just ask Ronnie Spector- and crazy gun toting drama (he pulled a gun on Dee Dee Ramone when the were recording "End of the Century)/

How the hell did this happen? John Conyers didn't get the signatures need to be on the primary ballot?

That's my guess.

That said.. Conyers and his team should have been proactive about this - make sure you're in compliance with this stupid law while you're challenging its constitutionality. Especially with Snyder's gang of crooks running the state.

Hi, everyone! I hope that everyone has a great weekend.

I worked yesterday and I earned $63. As the drive is about an hour and a half, if things do not improve, my friend and I may call it quits and chalk it up to experience.
