Good morning all.

I've had to reboot 3 times because of software apps updating. Expecting to have to do it at least 1 more time. Grrrr.

Good morning, bloggers!!

I am concerned about what the administration will do in Syria and in North Korea. I fear that we could easily stumble into war.

In some good news, I am having a busy day before, during and after work. I have a friend to call in Boston about a school job.

Bernie supporters, Hillary Supporters, O'Malley supporters. Regardless of whom we supported in the primaries, it is time for Democrats and progressives to oppose the Trump regime - an outfit that may make the Bush/Cheney administration look mildly competent.

And yet I still get attacked by "Bernie supporters", real or fictions. I've moved on but they don't seem to have.

Yep. Giving Bannon a seat on that council was one of the first moves Trump made when he took office. Flynn wasn't even confirmed at that point.

If anything, this was a result of HR McMaster replacing Flynn. He's not having any of this shit dealing with Trump's purity agents, and he's respectable enough to know that Bannon shouldn't even be in the fucking room.

Greetings from sunny Greenacre City! We did not fly over the island on the way in. Mr. Trump is coming tomorrow, and the airspace is already closed, alas.

I presume it is weather, but is anything happening in Atlanta? Every plane headed there from Palm Beach was delayed at the gate when I walked past.

I have a dark feeling that this is a soft military coup on foreign policy.

I thought of that when I heard a few things -- especially what Haley said at the UN today. and then there is this from Jennifer Rubin. She still a conservative, So I forgive her hopefulness on the other 5 points.

Five reasons why Bannon leaving the National Security Council matters
Fourth, Bannon’s departure is a hugely reassuring sign that McMaster — perhaps with assistance from Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly and, if he perks up, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson — has the gravitas to take charge of the process of making and presenting foreign policy to the president. We badly need direction on everything, including Syria, Iran and China. Developing and implementing foreign policy will only work if these professionals cooperate and have a smooth process for raising issues and formulating policy.

I am glad that gin-soaked DT* is outta there, but I think we may be in deep waters.

I was shocked that someone found or took a picture of him where he doesn't look like he's drying out from a 4-day black out drunk. He looked...clean.
