@Stonekettle Stolen from some unknown on FB: Trump could have done far more damage to that airfield if he bought it and ran it as one of his businesses.

"Trump Fatigue" is real, eh?
Since I was in Palm Beach last week at the same time as Mr. Trump, there are a couple of observations.
Take a look at a map; when he's in town, the third bridge to the island is closed, and traffic is generally a nightmare. The road in front of Mar-a-Largo is also detoured. The Chinese President was in at the same time, and he stayed down the island in Manalapan, so essentially a 7-mile stretch was off limits to the ordinary people last week.
While Palm Beach International remains operational while he's there, there is a secondary airport called 'Lantana Air Park" that is within the exclusion zone. This is shut down entirely when he's in - there is no air activity, which affects all the private owners and flight school with planes on the field. JFK hospital is literally across the street, but they are allowed to use the helipad for airlifts, at least.
I drove by the airport myself, and believe it or not, there was an antiaircraft missile battery set up on the field, with armed troops and a security perimeter and all.
Quite a few days. He is quite the pompous, insecure, psychopath we believe him to be.

Gawd I would hate to live there - sounds like a giant mess.
