Bullocks! Shit and other sweary swears. I just found out that an old friend of mine died back in September. He had no online footprint so I only found out today. I've reached out to his longtime girlfriend on Facebook.

I am feeling very weird about this. John became a ghost to me and Michael (the other friend) in the early 90s not long after Mrs. Weigel died. He stopped sending my mother a Christmas card every year. Michael and I spent a fuck ton of time trying to no avail to find John to reconnect. So, I am less sad and more pissed off about it.

I'm kind of liking Joy Reid/Lawrence O'Donnells idea of having the Dems waive the 60 votes and let it all lay on the Repubs since they can't even get 50 of them to say yes.

But that could also spectacularly backfire on the Dems

I think Dems have to do some kind of song and dance, maybe eat some chicken to symbolize it as a sacrifice to make it ok for the Parliamentarian.
