What is in store for us today?

Who knows.

I am still in shock over the news of a military parade that the clown wants to hold in DC. It's sheer insanity.
The White House has spent the better part of the past 24 hours arguing that President Trump didn’t actually mean things he said: that he didn't actually want a government shutdown and that he was just joking about that whole Democrats-who-didn’t-applaud-me-committed-treason thing.

But now we find out Trump was very serious about something that might have seemed like so much Trumpian hot air: a military parade.

The Washington Post’s Greg Jaffe and Philip Rucker report that Trump has set planning in motion to make his long-expressed vision a reality. The directive was made during a meeting Jan. 18 with top generals in a Pentagon room reserved for top-secret discussions.


I don't think the knows what Bastille day is about.

What wer have is a GOP that is parading this fool around pretending he's President when he's nothing more than a grifting fraud.

He can't be gone fast enough.

Caught part of Morning Joe and he was mentioning that the polls agree with tRump when it comes to immigrants and immigration. How the F are we losing the messaging war on any of this?! And how the F are people becoming normalized to nazi's and the KKK?!

I only heard it as I was passing through the living room, he did say something about "the latest" polls.

Wish I could too. Feel like we are really losing our country and I don't understand any of it. Apparently now even I'm considered an elitist with my dumpy little townhouse in the lower middle class neighborhood that is a mix of people.

Oh that would be great! Decided I wanted to get the Sims4 and "Can I Run it" is telling me I need to update the driver and I chickened out last night cause I thought I was gonna blow up my laptop. Have no restore point to fix it either.

I read the entire interview. Jones is a bit of a narcissist himself, although not in a destructive way

So this is interesting.. some of the details are starting to come out about this budget agreement between McConnell and Schumer. CHIP would be fully funded for 10 years instead of 6 (tho unsure if it includes funding for rural health centers). It would also add a desperately needed $90b in disaster aid funding. And unwind some of the budget sequestration rules from recent years - meaning DoD would also get all of its funding, which isn't necessarily a good thing.

What it doesn't do is touch anything re: DACA or Dreamers, which is why Nancy Pelosi's holding the House floor indefinitely.

McConnell is making that a standaloner.

I don't trust McConnell and Repubs as far as I can throw them but I do know we all have to work back to being able to negotiate and compromise.
