A muse.

I'm angry. I am angry about guns, lies, inaction, and meanness. I am angry at this administration for the hate-filled rhetoric. Day after day, I try to turn my anger into something useful, and I try to share information to those that may not otherwise know.

One of the greatest compliments I have been given is when a friend or family member tells me they often see what I have posted or shared so they can see what is going on. I try very hard to use reputable sources, because well, I want to keep a reputation of telling a truthful story.

I am angry that I have to try harder than ever before because we now live under a political culture of lies. That we have people out there denying that the kids of Parkland are real victims by claiming they are actors is the height of insanity.

Those high schoolers are amazing. They help cede some of my anger and give me hope. They shouldn't have been put in that place, to begin with, and yet the reality is that we are where we are.

What I think is that we are at yet another crossroads. We are at a place where people are now choosing to be a part of the solution when they weren't sure where their place was before.

We, as a nation, shouldn't be in a place where people are forced to choose and again I say, the reality is that we are where we are.

I never felt like I was alone in the fight to resist what this administration would be doing, and is doing, but I do feel better knowing that more and more people are giving voice to the resistance.

We'll right this ship, We will take our nation back to a place where we don't have to fear our democratic processes will be stripped away by those that desire and authoritarian regime.

One can be angry and hopeful at the same time.

Anyway, that's my Wednesday musing, Let's see what the day will bring us.

and

and some more.

Raine

Mornin' all!

Allow me to wish a fond abayo to the millions of bots that were just purged from Twitter.

Oh, and Billy Graham too - a man whose NYT obituary was already being written in 2002 (check the bottom of the page)

Nope. Not that Billy was much better.

First decision out has to do with attorneys fees being covered by a judgment award. Written by Gorsuch.

This isn't really a big deal case, but it helps us get an idea on how Gorsuch's decisions will be.

Worse is Pat Robertson. He needs to just die already.

Today's other decisions:
Rubin v. Iran - Forfeiture of property owned by foreign diplomatic personnel

Class v. US - Challenge a law's constitutionality after you've pled guilty

Digital Reality Trust v. Somers - Whistleblower protections re: Dodd-Frank

I can't stand him! He is worse then a just a con man, he prays on the elderly and ill to make his money. Hope they punt him out of heaven so hard it leaves a mark that is a reminder to him for his eternity in hell.

So Convicted Felon D'aesh D'Souza was uninvited from CPAC.

Geez, you REALLY have to be an asshole if they're uninviting you.

Their twitter account said "His comments are indefensible."

Apparently they've never paid attention to the rest of their lineup, for the past 2-3 decades.

Good question.

The NRA is gun-porn since most of its members or leaders seem to be compensating for something missing.

Aajit Pai is going to speak at CPAC. Well, I guess he fits in with the cons since the underhanded kill of net neutrality, and his changing the rules to allow the Sinclair-Tribune deal to go through shows what a corrupt piece of shit he is.

Sam Nunberg is up next in Mueller's interview chair.

He was literally just on MSNBC saying that they're lying about their contacts with the Russians. And he left the campaign in 2015!

There's a mass exodus of ICE employees & massive drop in new job applications

I guess the only people who want to do that kind of job under this regime are brownshirts.
