Thanks for the cover Will! Totally Fluffy and awesome :D
Was going to jump on the blog this morning when I get back from Kaiser but was too tired to even open the laptop. Woke up at 1:30 am with stinging pain in my eye and could not see anything but giant blurs with it, even in my glasses. Ended up at Kaiser urgent care who told me it looked like a corneal abrasion and infection. Sent me over to Kaiser Fair Oak with an ophthalmologist who confirmed. Can barely keep my eye open and feels like a boulder in there when I blink. No contacts for 2 weeks (that sucks!!!) and antibiotic eye drops for at least the next 4 days.
Yay Friday

I've had numerous corneal abrasions in the past. Fortunately, the cornea is one of the fasted healing parts of our body. Try to keep it covered and it will heal faster.

So....TriSec was hedging his bets. I got called for Federal Grand Jury duty this week.
However...I dodged the bullet. I was selected as an "alternate", which is different than a Petit Jury trial. I am 'on call', but may not serve at all.
But that means I'm working on a couple of bucket list items. I have to go to Florida next spring to tend to some family business. I'm trying to see if I can manage this to hit a couple of days of Spring Training, and maybe even do a solo day at Disney!
